چکیده
Abstract Sperm motility is an index tightly associated with male fertility. A close relationship between seminal plasma and sperm has been confirmed. This study was to assess the protein metabolite profiles of obtained from adult goats high or low using proteomic metabolomic strategies. In total, 2098 proteins were found. 449 differentially abundant (DAPs) identified, 175 DAPs enriched in group. The primarily exist cytoplasma extra-cellular portion. Gene Ontology enrichment analysis demonstrated main functional roles these regulating biological process, metabolic process organic substances, cellular-metabolic primary-metabolic nitrogen compounds, etc. Additionally, Kyoto-Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) revealed that involved phosphatidylinositol signaling system, salivary secretion, proteasome, apoptosis, mitophagy-animal, Aided by parallel reaction monitoring technology, abundance changing pattern 19 selected consistent corresponding TMT. total 4603 metabolites identified plasma. 1857 differential found group group, 999 up-regulated KEGG primary involvement synthetic activities. conclusion, we first established proteome metabolome databank goat plasma, detecting some which may affect motility. will be valuable for understanding mechanisms leading poor

Determination of some seminal plasma indices, sperm density and sperm motility in the Persian sturgeon Acipenser persicus
Some biological aspects of semen were investigated in the Persian sturgeon, Acipenser persicus, by determination of seminal plasma indices (ionic composition and osmolality), sperm density and their relationships with sperm motility. The osmolality of seminal plasma ranged from 42.00 to 111.00 mOsmol Kg-1. The concentrations of Sodium (Na+), Potassium (K+), Chloride (Cl-), Calcium (Ca2+) and Ma...

متن کاملEvidence favoring sperm selection over sperm competition in the interaction between human seminal plasma and sperm motility in vitro.
The effect on sperm motility of sperm-sperm and sperm-seminal plasma interactions was studied among homologous and heterologous sperm. There were no significant interactions between sperm in vitro, but it was found that seminal plasmas of different donors have different effects on sperm motility, and different sperm react differently to the same seminal plasma. Sperm showed higher motility in a...
متن کاملP-79: The Correlation between Nitric Oxide Levels in Seminal Plasma with Human Sperm Parameters
Background: Defective sperm quality is a significant cause of infertility in men. It is known that nitric oxide (NO) is a highly reactive free radical gas which has a dual function, being both a cytotoxic and necessary molecule for normal sperm production. Materials and Methods: To investigate correlation between NO levels with sperm parameters, a case-control study were designed with total of ...
متن کاملNitric Oxide Level in Seminal Plasma and Its Relation with Sperm DNA Damages
Evidence supports the involvement of nitric oxide (NO) in a Varity of male reproductive processes such as spermatogenesis, spermiogenesis, sperm motion, sperm metabolism and sperm capacitation. However, Low concentration of NO is essential in biology and physiology of spermatozoa, but high amounts of NO is toxic and has negative effects on sperm functions. On the other hand, it is established t...
